Il ballo liscio emiliano-romagnolo è stato candidato come patrimonio immateriale dell’umanità dell’Unesco, e lo spettacolo “Nel Ventre della Balera”, del disegnatore e autore teatrale Gianluca Foglia “Fogliazza”, in scena domenica 3 dicembre alle ore 17 nella Palestra Polivalente di Varano de’ Melegari, ci ricorda quanto questo ballo sia una tradizione viva e che fa vivere.
La nuova narrazione dell’artista parmigiano trasformerà la palestra in un’immaginaria balera per raccontare la storia di un ballo, il Liscio, che ha dato al popolo il tempo libero, la libertà di sentirsi vivi, il diritto di essere felici. Vite a suon di valzer, polche e mazurche, dall’Emilia alla Romagna, volteggi leggendari e piroette quasi clandestine: scoprire la storia del liscio è capire la nostalgia di un tempo che faceva del ballo un atto di ribellione, del talento autodidatta di contadini poveri per nascita e talentuosi per vocazione.
Dopo “Memoria Indifferente – le Donne della Resistenza”, “Ribelli come il Sole”, “Officine Libertà – l’Onda della Madonnina”, “C’è una volta – una favola sulla memoria”, “Vittorio – Restiamo umani”, “Ribelli come il Sole – 100 di queste Barricate”, Fogliazza presenta uno spettacolo con disegno dal vivo, dopo i debutti di Milano (8 ottobre) e Parma (14 ottobre) nell’ambito del prestigioso Festival Verdi. Le musiche originali, di Emanuele Cappa e Stefano Melone, saranno eseguite da Emanuele Cappa con chitarra, fisarmonica, clarinetto e kazoo, per una produzione diretta da Nicola Casalini per Sonirik in collaborazione con l’Associazione Turbolenta ed il Festival della Lentezza.
